If I may, let me remind you that JK did a special vocal studio sessions
regarding the remixes you're talking about. So I think he wanted the
remixes to be done. I do think JK (and almost all musiciens in the
business) wanted to know how his tunes would sound like when a club
speciallist is calling the shots.
On the other hand how could we listen to stuff like "Space Cowboy"'s
original demo version (and others) if it wasn't for this CD Singles
containing the remixed versions?
To end this commend I must say I prefer the Mixmag guys to vote for a
Jamiroquai tune as the best dance song rather than the other tunes we
ear when we're courage enough to put our feet in some clubs.

PS-I do also prefer the original versions. When we're talking about
"Cosmic Girl" I think the remix lost that 70's disco beat that
represents the base of the tune.
