!) Anokha- Sounds of the Asian underground. Haven't even listened to
this all the way through but I have to say brilliant so far. great
beats that actually had me dancing (i don't dance) in the kitchen before
I realized what was going on. Drum and Bassy World-Music, if it must be
labeled. All over fascinating so far.

Track 11 on this disc - Accepting Trankuility by the Milky Bar kid - has been
one of my _favorites_ of the past few months (have heard it out a couple of
times spun by DJ Sasha at Organic Grooves and loved every second, esp. with
the conga/guitar accompaniment that they do at their events). The ascending
arpeggiated chord gets me every time and reminds me of a sunrise.
