second might have been too mainstream, or over-produced, but i think it
might have to be a small concession to kidz who JUST DONT GET IT, like
the "head" i met a few weeks ago, who skragged BDP in favor of Death Row
Records -- "that's hip hop," he said. aargh.
a few more personal beefs: saw spearhead on their last tour and they
tore it up, and brooklyn funk esstls. put on a mighty show as well, but
in between i was subjected to aceyalone, who can't rap, can't freestyle,
and all his "DJ" did was stand behind his tables and pressed play on the
DAT machine. i just don't get it. c.
