I don't know whether I'm The Guy Who Got Angry (tm) or T-Bird , The
Original Guy Who Got Angry (tm) is.
If I am, let me make this clear - I don't mind labels, I don't mind "acid
jazz" nor do I mind "trip-hop"; In fact I sometimes get bugged when others
use alternate, and mildly misleading substitute terms, especially when
promoting clubs, because some people for some reason might not get it or
might get confused.
But as far as "Downtempo", I don't consider it a label as much as it is an
umbrella description, of which I
don't seem to cool with. I sometimes see it - when the BPMs drop down, so
do the butts --- down to the chairs.
Also, I was partly joking, refering to T-Bird's Original Angry Guy Comment
(tm).
