Hey...
I just dusted off my acid jazz collection volume one(very bad
collection by the way...the followup, 2 is a lot better) cassette
and I came across a song by the K-Collective which was basically
Jan Kincaid of BNH doing a solo version of the duet w/ he and
N'dea that appears on their Excursions, Remixes and Rare Grooves
album... Did the K-Collective put out any albums? Jan has a real
nice voice, wouldnt mind hearing more from him (Doesnt he solo on
a couple songs on the BNH new album, havent heard it)...
Saw 5th element over the weekend... Interesting visually, couldnt
follow the storyline... Tricky's look was so right for the
character... So many other familiar faces... The ticket taker for
that cruise... Im not familiar with her work but theres an
interview in VIBE magazine... Was that or wasnt that the lady
from Zap Mamma?? Anyone?
This may be late, but someone mentioned the mary jane girls...
Last time I saw them, they were on Jenny Jones singing her into
commercials (This pitiful feature she has where she brings back
has-beens to sing her into and out of commercials. ) They still
look pretty good, but a bit old for the getup they wear. Before
that, they were in somebody's rap video where I believe one of
their songs was sampled.
Okay, I went back to that store where I saw the Quiet Boys CD for
$7.99. It was still there... I didnt know the title before...
Its Cant hold the vibe... Is this a good CD?
