The following is the URL for ovum recordings homepage; click on king
britt to get to a site which has sound clips of "Get Into It"; there is
also other information about king britt:

I don't understand one thing about his discography. This album/project
called "When the Funk Hits the Fan" that I have read about is listed
under 1995, but I thought it was due out some time this month.

I read the following from an archive from Columbia Records "The Daily
Dish" (http://www.music.sony.com/Music/WireTap/Dish/1997/013097.html):

"King Britt, a.k.a. SYLK 130, has just completed a jazz-funk-soul remix
of "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone" for Warner Bros. artist Paula Cole;
the track should hit the radio airwaves in about two weeks. In addition
to his remix wizardry, Britt is putting the finishing touches on "When
The Funk Hits The Fan," his solo debut album due in stores in the late
spring. "When the Funk Hits the Fan" is a "concept" album dealing with
the trials and tribulations in the life of a DJ spinning in the late
1970's. The record is the first installment in a projected trilogy of
movies-in-sound from SYLK 130."

Does anybody know more about "When the Funk Hits the Fan"?
