Q-bert was in San Francisco and at the ITF Championships this past
Sunday. He is on crutches right now (don't know exactly what happened.)
Speaking of ITF Championships. The winners were Babu (for both Beat
Juggling and Scratching), the Beat Junkies (for team competition), and
Vin Roc (5th Platoon NY) for advancement. (by a questionable decision)
In most of the crowds opinions the winner should have been Statik from
Denmark. Get the video and you'll see what I mean. Overall the show
was really dope, and it was cool to see/hear DJ's from around the world
tear shit up. Keep an eye out for Tony Vegas, he did some serious
needle thrashing vs. Babu for the scratch title. (with a fumble that
cost him the match though.) Anyways, I'm out.
