a berimbau is a native Brazilian musical instrument. it is used in
performance of traditional songs, and dance such as capoera. it cosists of a
wire or string simply
streched across wood and is struck with a stick. different pitches or tambers
can be ubtained by holding or hitting the wire in different places. a unique
and beautiful sounding instrument
