Hmm..i dont know much, BUT:
Its two guys, Touche and..uhm..another one. Touche is a decent dj (i
guess) while the other one is more of a producer-type.
They're more HipHop-ish than most of the other Wall Of Sound artists and
id go as far as to compare them to London Funk Allstars and The
Herbaliser (tho IMHO they arent in any way as dope as LFAS and
Herbaliser).
Their album "Exceutive Suite" (Wall Of Sound) is *ok* i guess..mostly
jazzy instrumental stuff + a couple of tracks with some corny mc's.
The only Wiseguys track that have REALLY touched me is "Casino Sans
Pareil" + the B-side on the same 12" (cant remember what its called).
I defenetly recoment that 12", the album on the other hand isnt all that
and unless you really like The Wiseguys it might not be worth the money.
I first head them (Casino Sans Pareil actually)on a Wall Of Sound
mixtape (mixed by Touche) and with the help of this mailing list i got
to know more about 'em and ended up buying their album :)
