Has anyone heard Groovy Vol.3 on the Irma label (compiled by Black Power
Rec.-Italy)? No. 2 was excellent with tracks by The Peddlers- "On A
Clear Day", Marcos Valle- "Garra", Asha Putli-"Lies", Donovan-
"Barabajagal", Jon Lucien- "Mi Vida", and the great Billy Paul- "East".
Let me know who has heard Vol.3, and what it's like. I know BEN Sidran's
"About Love" is on it. VERY Groovy!!!! I just got Puzzle's 2nd LP and
Hidden Strength's LP, has anyone heard them? Puzzle has the great
dancefloor jazz tune "A State of Mind" and Hidden Strength s a solid
rare funk LP. Anyone dig stuff like this stuff and Lighthouse's One Fine
Morning, please lemme know what else is out there along the same
grooves!
What other comps. along the same lines of funky, jazzy, ecclectic old
grooves as Groovy Vol. 2 & 3 can you reccomend? C-YA
