>Has anyone heard Groovy Vol.3 on the Irma label
I picked it up. I don't feel that it is up to the same "groovy"" standards
as Volume 1 and 2 though. It's a quality compilation, but it sacrifices a
lot of the funk and club tracks for more of the rare jazz tracks (some are
even a bit weird). I'm glad I own it, but still listen to 1 and 2 much more.
Similar are the Mo Plen 2000 and 3000 CDs (maybe even better than Groovy)
and Volumes 1 and 2 of the Beat CDs on Crippled Dick.
