I would say a lot of it is due to the fact that BNH's US label is based
here, plus N'dea lived here for a while (quite a few people in the music
scene know her), Siedah was born and raised here (she's Valley girl), and
most of the people who know about them have been fans since the first
album; "Never Stop" got good radio airplay in the Top 40 and urban stations
here, and their first appearance on TV was "Dream Come True" on Nia
Peeples' "Party Machine"! :)
