Add n to (x) is one of the members of Stereolab, for those keeping score.
(which member, I don't remember...I want to say its the drummer).
Fridge is very spacey, bass heavy...live instrumentation if I remember
right...bass and drums, sort of dancey but not.
speaking of bass/drums bands and sterolab, I heard about an album coming
out within the next few weeks called "Uilab," which is the members of Ui
collaborating with Stereolab. (Ui is made up of two bassists and a
drummer...a pretty good band.)
Anyone else know what this will be like?
Oh, and by the way, if you enjoy the fridge/ad n to x split, you may also
want to check out the Ganger 12" split trilogy on Soul Static Sound.
Three A-Sides from Ganger (more of that same style music I've been
talking about here...bass heavy, not exactly dub though). The B-Sides are
handled by Two lone Swordsmen, and, uh, two other bands. Sorry, I can't
recall who else is involved.
