Strange...
They were, I quote a friend,
"a museum piece from the 1960s...
playing the same sort of music..."
? was wearing tight, gold lame pants,
held up by suspenders
(I swear he stuffed his crotch)
and a chest-baring bronze something.
He had his typical cowboy hat and sunglasses on.
Towards the end of their really long set
(from 12 to about 2:30 am)
they invited Alex Chilton join them on stage.
? didn't want none of that.
He stormed off the stage shortly after.
Alex was left to fumble around on stage,
upsetting a roadie by throwing off a stuffed panda
bear into the audience.
It was a strange performance...

we eat reality sandwiches.
But allegories are so much lettuce.
Don't hide the madness."
