Hi Olivia and people that want to meet in A'dam.
Club Havana is at the Reguliersdwarstraat as a mate of mine found out and
located in a gay club (as you can expect in Amsterdam), but it's upstairs
and it's in a mixed part of the club. I'm not sure if I can make it as I
have a gig that night which is supposed to end not too late. Too bad you're
not arriving this thursday as the 2nd anniversary of Fat Beats Amsterdam wil
be held then with a lot of great emcees and dj's.Get tickets now folks as it
will be sold out soon...
I coincidently ran into ex-listee Matt Chicoine (you long time listees will
rember him) today on yahoo-chat. He's producing things on Planet E records
(Carl Craig/Innerzone Orchestra, Moody Man, Kevin Saunderson) nowadays under
the name J. Hogans and he's working on a full lenght album. Until now he
has a 12" out on the aforementioned label. check it if you can find it.
furthermore a shameless selfplug. My band, Sambalanço, will be playing
brazilian sounds in the Rotterdam subway this thursday evening to celebrate
something that the metro company has achieved (don't ask me what).
Pedro, try calling or faxing the Ninjas, most companies are too busy to
check their email. So stop whining! just kidding mate :)
btw has anyone already found out who this Clifford Gilberto character is?
Uk listees, I will be in London for two days (19&20 Oct.)to throw away money
on records, a new recordbag (I'm loosing too much stuff :) and to visit my
man V-Love and to hang out in Barumba on mondaynight, does anyone want to
meet there?
