Should toss up a mention that, while only _NS-GN_ & _Album_ have been
reissued (on Japanese Phillips), a pretty good overview of all the Dave
Pike material can be found on the new Volker Kriegel (Pike's excellent
guitarist/sitarist) compilation, _Zoom_, from Motor's MPS revivification
program. It's a two-disc set, one covering Volker's "Sideman" years
(mostly Pike stuff), the other his solo stuff w/his bands Spectrum &
Multiple Maniacs Orchestra. The concentration is weighted heavily to the
earlier solo stuff, which is good, but I'd have preferred to just get
straight reissues of the first few albums. I suppose they're pending if
sales on the comp are sufficient.
Still a great selection, though!
