There have been a couple of responses about this (including mine); I assume
you sent the mail before reading them. To recap, there's _NS-GN_; _Album_
(a slightly later MPS record) just got reissued by Japanese Phillips;
there's the earlier & less freaky _Got the Feeling_; the Pike half of the
Volker Kriegel comp _Zoom_ on Motor; & another comp under Pike's name
called _Masterpieces_ (forget if it's Motor or J. Phillips, haven't heard
it).

If you like Pike, you'll want to check out the classic Gary Burton Quartet,
which inspired the entire German jazz scene at the time to head down the
fusion path, & very directly inspired the Pike Quartet. I'd recommend the
recently reissued _Good Vibes_ as a good starting point-- they are very
similar in feel & energy.

And, also available on MPS, Wolfgang Dauner's _Oimels_ is a completely
freaked-out *classic* of this genre. Sigi Schwab, the guitarist from
_Vampyros Lesbos_ fame, was a member of Dauner's outfit at the time.

Anyone heard the _Get Up & Dauner_ compilation?
