Well it's going to take a certain amount of reflection before I'm ready to
vote in either poll. But I'd like to say that I like the idea of
consolidating the categories, and that I like the categories Elson came up
with much better than the ones we've been using previously. They're much
clearer!
Would it make sense to have a "nominating period" so we can whittle down
the entries to a reasonable number of nominees? The last few years it
seems like we've wound up with a whole bunch of one-vote nominees and the
winners which only get a half-dozen votes...
