There was an article in the local weeklys about how the lawers of the big
music labels were stifling the mix tape/CD genre, and, not letting stuff
get out--think of that cool song on a mix tape you searched for. And, it
later made the comment about the 'produced' mix tapes/copilations and
mentioned Rawkus, and, though not total criticizing them did mention the
restrictions of only being able to use stuff off your own label.
