ALBUM OF THE WEEK: PRO-ZAK TRAX VOLUME 1: 1994-1999, collecting the last
five years' output from a French label that I must confess, I had heard of
but never checked out before. (Can I blame this one on lousy U.S.
distribution? Yeah...that's the ticket!) Time to catch up, though, with
this whopping double-CD comprised of one downtempo disc and one pumping
house disc. Remember these names: Seven Dub, Kojak, Aleem, Stephane
Malca...no doubt we'll be hearing more from them in the future. Four out of
five rhythm doctors recommend PRO-ZAK TRAX VOLUME 1: the cure for what ails
ya.
