Event posting is encouraged on this list. After all, it's the way to see/head
our music in action. The reason why people fail to list the location in the
subject bar is maily because they merely add "acid-jazz@ucsd.edu" to their long
(local) e-mailing list without regard to the fact that the Internet is a
woldwide thing.

And there are others who just don't know the rules, and others who are complete
idiots :)

But I'm sure Andrew's failure to mention "NYC" in the subject is the first
reason...I wouldn't dare call Andrews crew "annoying" -- Giant Step is a major
force, if not THE major force in the acid-jazz scene in the US, and one of the
most influential crews in the world.

All Andrew needs to do in the future is to email the list separately with the
same email to his Giant Step list copied and add "New York" in his subject.

I don't mind seeing Giant Step posts at all, despite the fact that I live on the
other side of the continent and that I only visit NYC every few
years...Generally, most European acts stop at NYC first, so it's interesting to
see who's coming around on tour.
