It's interesting, there was a recent mini flame war
about Jeff Mills' set at Twilo on the Detroit Techno
list (where every day is an "argue about Mills" day).
Mills' defenders say that what interests them most
about his DJ sets is the edginess, the spontenaeity
and the sense of tension that arises from knowing that
the mix is on the point of collapse. I'm thinking
that this type of high-risk/high-reward mixing really
mainly occurs with 4/4 house/techno stuff, though I'd
love some downbeat/a-j dj to prove me wrong. I guess
the types of music lend themselves to different types
of mixing.

Really deep conclusions.. you can tell I've spent the
entire day being treated like a child. Excuse me if
my reasoning also appears to be immature.
