'World Wide' hasn't been on KCRW for well over a year, perhaps two.
The only way to get perfect radio is if you pick all the tunes yourself. At
least there are no commercials and in the US that is a major achievement
outside college radio. The live webcast is a major bonus (www.kcrw.org) and I
hope more stations start doing it. At least people around the world can hear
what the Los Angeles residents are complaining about. Some of the best shows
happen after midnight, Kevin Lincoln, Ricky Andres, Thomas Golubic all on
between 12 and 3am. I'll be tuning in on Thursday morning (5/6) as The angel
aka 60 Channels is in the studio. Should be interesting as I think Tre from
The Pharcyde was going to drop in with Angie Hart. I think she's doing an
instore at the megastore on sunset on friday night.
4 hero are at the atlas on wednesday night (5/5). Should be a good show.
Peace
Fabian G.
