Here's my impression of that album (which my co-worker
occasionally plays until he can't stand my taunting
any longer):
"y-if i could rearraaaaaaange y-iiiiiiiit...why can't
I rearraaaaaange y-iiiiiiiit??...*pout whine cry*
where's my lollipop? why can't i have a lollipop?
y-if i could have a lollipop...."
Why is she constantly flat?? What comes across to me
is that Krust seems to be allowing himself a lot of
musical slack just because he's doing some things that
are a little unusual in the world of drum and bass.
Same phenomoenon that allows those kids who scratch
over jungle to do a mediocre job with a clear
conscience. but the bassline in the saul williams
track...!!!! =) !!!
Anyway, I'd like to state that Johnny L never lets me
down. He's be one of my quieter favorites for quite a
while and even though his style constantly evolves and
switches up, I'm always really into it.
