How is "Amel Larrieux" properly pronounced? I've heard it as "uh-mel luh-ROO"
but
seeing as I took a couple years of French back in high school I pronounce it,
"ah-MELLe larry-YUH" (and if I wanted a hardcore French accent, I could include
the "ckhhh" (like you're hocking a spit, heh) in the "rr" part). And yes, I know
she's not French, but her name is of French origin.
