he's still a bad-ass dj!! there are producers, label owners, radio
personalities, etc. that dj and shouldn't. gilles is not in that
category--which is what i'd always heard about him, beatmixing or not.
norman cook is a great party dj but doesn't really have the range of gilles.
as a matter of fact, peterson's dj abilities developed his ear for talent.
think about it, that's what a REAL dj does--picks the good stuff from a pile
of possible shite.
