COLDCUT TO TOUR IN SUPPORT OF NINJA TUNEıS TENTH ANNIVERSARY

Good things come to those who wait: after a couple yearsı hiatus from
playing the States, Ninja Tuneıs Coldcut are back for a full-on tour in
support of their labelıs tenth anniversary. The legendary duo (Matt Black
and Jon Moore) have worked with musicians as varied as James Brown, Eric B.
and Rakim, Lisa Stansfield, Steve Reich, and Jello Biafra over the course of
their career. In addition, the Ninja Tune label has been one of the UKıs
strongest indies throughout the course of its history contributing to the
evolution of trip-hop over the years and helping build the careers of
artists like DJ Food, Kid Koala, and Amon Tobin in the process. Aside from
simply running a label, the two are also well known for the Ninja website
(www.ninjatune.net), internet and radio broadcast shows Solid Steel and
Pirate TV, and the creation of various remix tools and software such as
their Vjamm application. Within the music, art, and programming worlds the
name Coldcut is synonymous with innovation, and their live performance is
certain to be equally mind-blowing. This tour promises to be a full-on
multimedia extravaganza, with Coldcutıs live set being a synchronized
audio/visual experience. DK, producer for the Ninja Tune Solid Steel radio
show, will also be opening for Coldcut on all dates. In September you can
look forward to the triple-disc "Xen Cuts" compilation celebrating the
labelıs anniversary, and Coldcutıs own new full-length is slated for
    sometime 2001. So stay tunedŠ
