My address is cool but please remove acid-jazz@ucsd.edu as it is a discussion
group that is not based in New York and really hates Spam mail.
Perhaps when there are special nights like the Afro-Beat/Brazilian night,
where you can include a note about supporting artists like Femi/Fela Kuti,
Joe Clausell, and Da Lata. Other than that, basic party reminders don't go
over well with this group that exchanges ideas and information about music.
Thanks,
Marv

What secret is there in music which attracts all those who listen to it? It
is the rhythm which is created. It is the tone of that music which tunes the
soul, and raises it above the depression and despair of everyday life in this
world. If one knew what rhythm is needed for a particular individual in his
trouble and despair, what tone is needed, and to what tone that person's soul
should be raised, then one could heal a
person with music.
