Sounds like "basslick" came from someone on mp3.com :) Actually, it's alright,
it just has a weak into but it gets bettwe towards the middle. The joy of MP3s
is that you can just slide the position bar to the middle of the song so you'll
know what the main groove is. It's obviously an amateur tune, since whoever made
it doesn't know how to normalize/master their tracks (the volume level is
incredibly low).
but you're not feeling Wookie's "What's going

It's alright. I first heard it when Aaron Shinn (or was that someone else)
pointed me to this compilation and "What's Goin On" was on it. I must say I felt
a little uncomfortable listening to it at first, since the classic Soul II Soul
late 80s-early 90s groove was being tampered with, and it obviously sounded like
they got the a cappella off the Soul II Soul album ("Back To Life" on the
original version was just an a cappella). But it grew on me.
But MAN, the rest of the Wookie tracks...they rock harder than the Millenuim
Falcon (can't resist the Star Wars references).
