The song Black Lotus is from an album called 'Innerrhythmic
Foundation' by Sacred Systems. Its the third album from a project of
laswell's that features an all-star lineup making dubby abstract jazzy
eastern beats.
It's got Bernie Worrell, Graham Haynes, some x Material members, and Zakir
Hussein on it.
There are actually 3 records, of which I've heard 2, and both are
slamming.
Black Lotus is actually the B-Side of the last record. The A-Side is a
couple of drum-n-bass-tempo excursions, quite interesting, but not as
syrupy as Black Lotus. This is the record with the orange cover.
Here is some info from good ol' allmusic.com:

actually there's no info on this link... it just validates its existence
:)
