I´m agree with you; I think playing Jazz is for a musician like a master degree for a lawyer... a musician who plays jazz could play every kind of music!.. but pure jazz is not "digestible" for most people...

I think acid jazz is when you mix latin beats, afro beats, soul beats, etc combinated with improvisation, technology and a huge of experience and knowledge!!...
