AFRO BLUE evolved during the spring of 1995 when three accomplished
musicians decided to create a new listening experience for Atlanta's
emerging Jazz scene. With varied musical backgrounds, Mausiki, Kenneth and
Udoh have formulated a very unique sound. Operating from the basic premise
of creating "Original Jazz Expressions," Afro Blue's sound encompassess
musical elements from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition
to being firmly rooted in both traditional and contemporary Jazz genres of
America. Afro Blue have established themselves as one of Atlanta's premiere
musical groups, performing at various community events and venues, including

* the dramatic poetic expressions of ZENOBIA
- Much more than a poet, Zenobia Daynette Ranger is a multi-talented
actress/singer/dancer/poet, oft-times creating an artistic synergy
between her various disciplines. Zenobia's passion for words was
honed during her early adolescent years in her hometown of Oakland,
CA. Zenobia is currently a student at the historic Tuskegee U. and
continues to be an integral part of Vibes & Verses Poetry Society in
Montgomery, AL. Remniscent of the plethora of talent that has
preceeded her during the Harlem Renaissance and the Black Arts
Movement, Zenobia plans to revolutionize the world via her energetic
stage performance.
