RE: "What's Playing In Your CD Changer?"i buy vinyl only
1 dillenger, cocaine in my brain - ?? - very raw oldish ska track just
picked up on 7". chorus, "a knife a fork a bottle and a cork that's the way
we spell new york." i love this track and am really happy to have found it
for only 7 bucks cdn. : )
2 blackalicious - nia lp - mowax - what can i say about this that hasn't
already been said.. it is brilliant.
3 mos def - black on both sides lp - rawkus - instrumental - when you can
pick up a hip hop album instrumentals and love it that is really saying
something.
4. pharohs - awakening <reissue> lp - ubiquity - their rendition of, "tracks
of my tears" is one of the best versions i have heard.
5 mos def and kwali <sp?> - twice inna lifetime 12" - rawkus - another
record that is reawakening my long lost love for hip hop.
this is actually a good lead in to a question i have been wondering for a
while.. what is the ratio of cd to vinyl buyers on this list?
i haven't asked this before because i am trying to avoid the endless
arguments that always come up around this issue about which is better so try
to keep that in mind when posting replies.
