Hi all,
I can personally say that I'm very disappointed with
the current crop of earbud and in-the-ear style of
headphones. They all seem to have muffled sound(the
curse of mega-bass), and the latest ones I've tried
don't even deliver enough volume, which burns me a
little. I like the open-ear MDR-101 and the stylish
MDR-G52, but you can't really crank them up on the
plane or train without pissing someone off.
I have two very old in-the-ear Sony's, the MDR-W30 and
the MDR-W20. They have the great clear sound that I
like, but the MDR-W20 blew out the left side, and the
W30 is heading down the same road. Is there anyone
besides Sony that makes a decent pair? Better yet(and
this is a major long-shot), does anyone out there have
a mint condition pair of either of these headphones?
I'll pay $20 per pair to anyone who can do it. Thanx.
