Quoting from the Talking Loud
site(http://www.talkinloud.co.uk/talkin/talkin_gilles.html)
"A whole industry of compilations followed from then. (He's still doing it:
21st Century Soul, Talking Jazz 3 and Brazilica Compilations out on Talkin
Loud now)"
Anybody got any opinions on these?

Subject: GILLES IN NYC!!
Went to my firs "acid-jazz" related event ever last nite....and what
a
first show to see!! Gilles rocked. The guy completely blew me away. It was
like being in some drug endused state of uphoria but with out the bad side
effects (ok well maybe sweeting..but that's good too) I would love a set
list if any one can come up with one. The tracks that I am sure of were Nu
Yorkian Soul - Black Gold of The Sun, Elsa Soares - Mas Que Nada, Soul
Dhamma - Flower(scuba mix) and one other latin jammie from the INCredible
series.
The entire set was feverish but when he droppes Black Gold of The
Sun the
place went bonkers!! He kept repeatin "music for the body, music for the
soul" and he was right. It was like attending the church of rthyem and
bass...everyone with their hands held high praising the beat......totally
amazing.
can someone suggest other gilles must haves...other than INCredible and
Desert Island Mix..i would defonatly appreciate it:-)
