    heya Aaron,

Yeah, the album, 'Kaleidoscope,' is totally fantastic, though far more
experimental and avante-jazz influenced than anything the guys have done
previously. It's strictly Strictly Kev and Patrick as DJ Food now, and can
you ever tell that these guys click working together! For me, the new
re-working of "The Crow" is so incredibly moving, absolutely beautiful.

There's also a brand new double 10" pack 'A Dub Plate of Food vol. 2'
that's just come out with a 'dub' version of The Crow plus two other tracks
from the album, "The Ageing Young Rebel" (featuring writer Ken Nordine),
and "Cookin'," plus a piece exclusive to the 10" called "Tumbleweed." These
four tracks definitely have a familiar feel to DJ Food of old, but also
very much give a sense of the album. Phew. Make sense? :-)

I've always enjoyed DJ Food, but this album has made me a believer. Take care.
