I saw Femi on Sunday nite, and I can't say that there were any lulls in
the show at all. At 1hr 45 mins long, it wasn't long enough, considering
the $36 I shelled out to get in, but that was really the only complaint I
had. Usually, I get bored of a show about 90 mins in, but I was screaming
for more Femi on Sunday nite. He had the entire audience (about 800-1000,
hey, it's Montreal!) dancing their asses off, and I seriously doubt that
anyone left disatisfied. Lots of smiling, multiethnic faces in the crowd;
the vibe was as positive as at any show I've been to in the last long while.
I was surfing the cdnow site in search for more Femi, but could only
find his latest record, "Shoki Shoki". Does anyone know a site where I
could get his earlier releases? For that matter, how many other releases
does he have??
