Just picked up Code4109, DJ Krush's mix album. The liner notes list a track
featuring eminem so I was a little hesitent to dish out for this work. One
listen of code4109 set my reservations to rest. The album is a flowing
showcase of Krush's progression featuring the early Mowax and Shadow up to
Kakusei. Nothing groundbreaking but the smooth recombinations.

    Some standout cuts:
"Coffee Talk" / Jazzanova <- the beat scratching transition into the
consecutive track, "Wild Drums", will snap the lamest of the wallflowers
    into kinetics.

"Final Home" / featuring Esthero <- need I say more? best track from Kakusei
    to boot

"Yes to Me" and "Love is Life/Life is Love" / John Klemmer <- sending me to
the archives, who is this guy?!

If you were intrigued by Kakusei but thought it was a little sparse,
code4109 delivers the decryption key to the koan. Check it! And if you
ever get a chance to see Krush spin live, you're in for a performance.

    adario

ps the track w/eminem is an instrumental b-side.
