Sure, there is some house that sucks, but there is also a lot that is
worthwhile. It's like any musical form, some is awful but some is da bomb!
We've all heard the limp-wristed house popularised over the years by
advertisements and the like but, without house, where would a lot of today's
electronica be? To me, full-on trance is the lowest common denominator in
electronic dance music but some of it is good and some folks swear by it,
it's a matter of taste I suppose. I'm glad that R.Scott got stuff off of his
chest and feels better for it but, listen, oh R. Scott, there's some mighty
fine house out there and there is a lot with jazzy influences that is
wonderful. Yeah, it does require a little work to find but so does anything
worthwhile.
