i know that one of the problems i have w/house as a genre is how it seems to
have co-opted the whole "dance music" genre. it's like people forgot you
could dance to other beats! there are house producers that i think are
really dope (joe claussell, masters at work, ashley beedle & ballistic
bros.), but i'm tired of the predominance of house (i.e., everything else is
secondary--downtempo, chill, etc.).
