    thing about these types of "producer-musicians" is that (esp. in
    Thievery's case) usually cut up and sample old music, or do it in a studio
    using mostly kit and not much live musicians. It's the same with UFO,
    great to see their shows but you can't expect live bands, but be prepared
    to dance to a good selection of tunes.

    I'd venture to guess that St. Germain will be him dj-ing seeing as a
    majority of the tourist album was found in the Blue Note vaults, then
    reworked.
