yeah, I've been pretty interested in combining turntables and "regular"
instruments.... definitely Kid Koala is the one I've taken the most cues from,
but seeing Doctor L play with Tony Allen and a couple of recorded DJ Logic
things, I know other people are doing it pretty well. it's definitely cool to
see people trying to test out turntables in bands. I always like hearing/seeing
it. seems like a pretty early stage right now, so wait a few years and I'm
sure it'll become a much more polished art. there's definitely a lot of cool
    possibilities with it.

i'm trying to make some software right now to turn the turntable into a MIDI
controller....(hopefully it'll work)...there would be a lot of fun stuff you
could do if scratching could be a MIDI controller. it'd definitely let some
    more "musical" things happen.

    later

now playing: Deltron 3030...before that: Beastie Boys "Root Down(Free Zone
Mix)"...the bass line is soo good!
