Aaaah Jesper...Jesper is indeed the king. More than just a DJ - his best
work is the music he produces. You may have heard of his album "Stockholm"
released under his pseudonym "The Persuader" (on Svek). "Stockholm" is
probably one of my favorite albums of all time. Very sexy, very lush, very
essential. His Stockholm Mix Sessions mix is also standout - after all it's
what introduced me to Naked Music (by way of Blue 6's "Sweeter Love"). I've
been preaching the merits of both the Stockholm Mix Sessions and Persuader
since I joined the list, so, sorry if I sound like a broken record. :)
Jesper also has some standout tracks on various Lords of Svek compilations
(Vol. 1-4, Stars and Galaxy). He also has his producing hands in Sunday
Brunch, who's "Things you Said" 12" is tops on my list right now, right next
to the Aquanote that Gen mentioned.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing Stockholm Mix Sessions II but so far
all reviews I've seen have been good. As far as biographies go there is
little to be found about Jesper on the internet. The most I've ever seen is
    on the Turbo records site.

This weekend I finally picked up the Bossa Mundo compilation on Wave ... has
this been mentioned on the list before and I just missed it? This is
probably the most solid compilation I've heard all year - perhaps even
better than any of the Naked comps!

    cheers y'all,
    B.
