At the risk of coming across as an audiophile snob, I can't live without my 
DAT.  When I was in the market for a recording medium, I checked out MD, and 
I didn't like the way it sounded.  I actually think MP3s compressed @ 192 
sound better than MD.  IMHO, of course...
