From Compost Records's web site:
Minus 8 and the new Apple G4 Titanium Powerbook
Rumours say that Apple CEO Steve Jobs himself has decided on
the music for the commercial of the new Apple powerbook,
introduced at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Jan 9,
2001. He chose "Snowblind" by Compost artist Minus 8 out of
about 200 proposed tracks. The videoclip can be viewed as
Quicktime file on the Apple website.
By the way, Apple Macintosh computers are used for all areas of
production from music to graphic design and management at
Compost.
Good choice, Steve!
BTW, the tune is featured on the "Elysian Fields" full-length. I hope
this helps.
Best Regards,
Velanche
