I have to agree on this one. I try to turn my friends on to AJ every chance
I get. One friday night I put on St Germain, Amon Tobin, and Jazzanova for
them to check out. St Germain and Amon Tobin both got great responses,
but Jazzanova..they hated!! I thought how can this be? Then I got to
thinking that new souls need to mature in to things like Jazzanova or 4
Hero. I guess it's the equivalent of reading horror novels for a very long
time and then jumping into Shakespear, Salman Rushdie, Tsi Tsi Dengerambe...

Yes! St Germain were really impressive in the CD/Vinyl form but seeing them
live was sick...they made me dance AND had my respect as creative artists.
See 'em if you can.
I think it comes down to what YOU are looking for and how you prioritize
things like making a, Well Informed, crowd dance...or blowing their minds w/
something insane...ie Freeform Arkestra (these guys are really doing it for
me lately!!)
