Hi
An interesting track I came into recently in the Knee Deep remix of Jazzy
M's Jazzin The Way You Know (Perfecto). A nice jazzy rose-rouge-esque drum
intro coupled with a bassment-jaxxy bouncy bass line. Slightly cheesy, but
well worth a listen.
Also, Brother of Souls 'Music' (Guidance) is another that goes down well.
Not strictly house, but upbeat and rhythmic enough to fit into a house-ish
set.
Regards,
Rob.

Subject: Latin House tunes
hi,
I saw he recent postings about Negrocan etc...
I was wondering if anyone can point me to some more of these happy tunes
(less commercial well appreciated!) as I've been noticing a lot of lovely
ladies dancing wildly on these kind of tunes in front of the DJ
booth.........and I like THAT! ;-)
So besides 'Pasilda' which other ones should I check out? And also any
latin/ afro percussion house track are very welcome.
Thanx a lot,
Eelco
It's "Negrocan" not "El Negrocan."
"Cada Vez" was a HUGE European club hit in the fall of 2000. It was first
released on Kontor Records. The one that you know and love is the one that
was remixed by Grant Nelson. The original version isn't as deep and
housey.

but I'm sure that's not the whole list.
I reviewed one of the remixes (Pimento Music) back in October on the list
and it's archived on my weblog.

p.s. If you loved "Cada Vez" you gotta check out Afro Medusa's "Pasilda"
as that is another slammin' Latin House track to sandwich right between
"Cada Vez" and anything recent by Ian Pooley ("900 Degrees.")
