('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) >I figure someone out there must know the answer to my query: is there a recording (video or audio) of Radar's performance of his 'Concerto for Turntable'? I believe it was performed a couple months back at a university in Arizona. This guy is on some other shit with this turntablism stuff...devising a complete notation system for it and writing a concerto...damn.<

We were talking about this on another mailing list I'm on, and so far I have not seen any copies circulating. I assume that it has been officially recorded, but whether or not it will be released is unknown.

I think it would be nice if the hip hop community became more taper friendly. I mean, I love my MMW, Soulive, and Ozomatli but I think if a lot of artists became less-paranoid and more supportive of their fans, it would be cool so that a show like the Concerto For Turntable can circulate.

    Sorry, I'm bored at work.
