I think my path into this musical area started when I was very young and
used to visit my grandmother. My youngest uncle is only about ten years
older than me, so when i was a kid, he was a disco/garage DJ and used to
spend all day in his room/studio litening to him prepare his mixes. He evn
took me once to one of the parties he DJed for. I still cherish
(spelling?) a mix tape he made for me back in 1980, as one fo my most
valuable musical posessions. When, many years later, I told him I wanted
to become a DJ, he taught me a little and even gave me some of his vynil,
including some awesome (mostly pirate) mixed ones.
