Hi Dave
I checked the f-secure website,
http://www.europe.f-secure.com/virus-info/hoax, which also has this listed
as a hoax. According to them "...this page is considered the industry
standard information source for new virus hoaxes and false alerts." I always
check f-secure whenever I receive a virus warning to see if it is listed as
a genuine virus or a hoax.
The link for the info on sulfnbk is:
http://www.europe.f-secure.com/hoaxes/sulfnbk.shtml
I always feel that if the warning is genuine, the e-mail should be able to
provide a link to a virus company or a reliable source that has the virus
listed on its 'new viruses' section. If there is no such link, the e-mail is
almost certainly a hoax.
Regards
Carl
